FREQUENT QUESTIONS
What is a Geophysical Survey?
El estudio hidráulico en definitiva, es un documento que define cuáles son las consecuencias hidráulicas que una obra o proyecto puede llegar a afectar el estado de una cuenca hidrológica que le corresponde.
What is the objective of a geophysical survey?
Carrying out a Geohydrological study has the following objectives:
- Determine the main geological structures that control the storage and flow of water
underground, as well as recharge and discharge areas from a regional point of view. - Know the piezometric surface of the aquifer.
- Determine the recharge and discharge of the aquifer.
- Define the exploitation conditions in which said aquifer is located.
- Define the usable volume of groundwater, without inducing harmful effects to the aquifer.
- Recommend favorable areas for the exploitation of groundwater.
- Determine the quality of groundwater from a bacteriological point of view,
physical-chemical correlation with the geology of the area. - Evaluate potential risks of contamination of the aquifer and its environmental impact.
